Toms River Regional School graduates pursuing undergraduate or graduate education have the opportunity to apply for the Toms River Student Loan. How it works:

• Students must be graduates of Toms River Regional Schools.
• Students can borrow $2,500 each year.
• Students can join a community of over 1,000 other students who have used this loan to assist their educational expenses.

Before you apply, you are going to need a list of facts and figures in front of you. If you are beginning your undergraduate education in the fall, make sure you have an idea of what degree you wish to pursue. On top of that, have these numbers handy:

• Student's taxable income: know what you made last year.
• Total college cost: including tuition, meal plans, books, residence hall fees and other supplies.
• Funds presently available for college: Have an understanding of your other loans, savings or scholarships/grants.
